behind, effort over 2f out, never dangerous
slowly away, always towards rear
close up, ridden over 2f out, kept on inside final furlong
made all, ridden over 2f out, stayed on final furlong, ridden out
in touch, driven over 2f out, soon weakened
chased leaders, ridden over 2f out, one pace final furlong
A number of these are inconsistent and it would be no surprise to see something of an upset occur here. However, Seafield Towers is the pick of the bunch on recent form and he is granted another chance to finally get a first win registered in the form book. Ground Zero, Tally and Landing Strip are all capable of landing a race of this nature and will not make it easy for the Linda Perratt-trained three-year-old though. But Seafield Towers has a plenty in his favour this evening and he can make the most of a good draw if his young rider can bounce him out of the stalls to be on the pace from the off.
