Darryll Holland only has a couple of rides here all day and he was on board one of them, Catherines Call, at Kempton last month so his booking here is a pointer. Discanti started last season well and produced further good runs later and he can get involved despite looking slightly high in the weights. Sir Geoffrey is admirably consistent but has had 25 starts since last running beyond the minimum trip. Desert Strike is another who appears best over 5f and a penalty for last week's Wolverhampton success takes him onto his highest ever mark. Ventura Cove is on a fair mark and may be capable of better but this can go to MARVELLOUS VALUE, a once-useful handicapper who looks as though he is ready to win again having dropped to his lowest mark in three years.
