      Verdict

      EYECATCHER (NAP) gave notice of an imminent victory when just failing to hold off Ad Libitum over the course and distance last time and is taking a drop in class here so should go one better. Chant ended last season with a victory at Newcastle in August and was returning from a long break when only beaten a length in a Redcar claimer last month. Jan De Heem has won six races but prefers further and some give in the ground while Poetic Steps' last victory was in a Class 6 at Musselburgh in May and she's still 1lb higher.
