Verdict

PIPERS NOTE won this back in 2014 and loves the track and trip as he showed last month. He's up 5lb but was winning from higher marks last summer so can go in again. Sheepscar Lad's victory at Doncaster in April was on soft ground but he was only beaten a head on good going at Pontefract last Sunday and is on the same mark. Nameitwhatyoulike won the Great St Wilfrid here in 2016 and followed up in a Listed race at York but hasn't been in that kind of form since. Big Les went up 6lb for his Hamilton victory and couldn't cope at Ayr while Rosina has never won over this trip though has been staying on over the minimum.
