Northern Jem gets the nod here ahead of Isidore Bonheur and Frank Crow. A return to last summer's form would give Isidore Bonheur claims. Harvest Warrior faces a career-high mark but a return to 10 furlongs might help. Northern Jem is proving consistent and comes here on the back of a good second to Monte Alto at Folkestone (see how that horse runs at Windsor on Saturday). The handicapper may just have Just Observing at the moment, while Kildare Sun has so far proven best on the all-weather. Baan has yet to live up to early career promise, while Little Jimbob is worth another try at handicap level following two very good claiming runs. The Mark Johnston-trained Five A Side could be given a chance based on his juvenile form but he will have to leave behind two modest three-year-old runs if he is to play a meaningful part today, and Frank Crow is now three pounds below his April winning mark and, being relatively unexposed at today's trip, could go well. Finally, Ahlawy showed that he is no back number when just touched off at Yarmouth last time in a Ladies' race and cannot be ruled out of a good run but, for the selection, we return to Norhern Jem.
