MONTIBOLI is our selection with Mister Jingles and Blue Charm on the shortlist. Kevin Ryan's charge had been threatening to win a race for some time and she did so over course and distance last month. Well drawn again, she will be a tough nut to crack on ground that suits. Mister Jingles is modest though invariably goes well at big prices. He is possibly better over seven furlongs though does stay a mile. Blue Charm didn't get the best of runs at Beverley last time out though has dropped down the weights. Jebel Tara was a big disappointment at Newcastle though it would be folly to dismiss him on the evidence of one poor run. Kalasam is known over longer trips. Regal Lyric would have claims on some of the best of his juvenile form whilst Flying Bantam has shown little since joining his current stable. Montiboli looks to have been presented with a golden opportunity to post a follow up success.
