Waarif has been a great purchase by Middleham Park Racing having won four times for them last season and again when tackling this trip at Windsor last week. Regular pilot Conor McGovern is back on board and his claim helps offset a 5lb penalty. His stable also run FAYEZ, a very convincing winner over slightly shorter under Shane Grey here last month and taken to defy a 6lb rise. Mr Top Hat is generally consistent but was winning for only the second time when scoring at Chester. He needs some give in the ground and further rain would greatly enhance his cause. Stealth Fighter shot up the weights after a very easy victory over this trip at Yarmouth before failing to stay 1m4f at York. This is his trip while Universal Gleam enters the fray on a hat-trick and still has more to offer after scoring with a bit in hand at Ayr. Cockalorum hasn't run since landing a Leopardstown maiden in October but could be on an attractive mark on his first start for Roger Fell.
