Ella Woodcock has been threatening to win a race of late and this looks a good opportunity; the chief rivals would appear to be Demolition and Jafra. The selection was a little disappointing last week at Nottingham but the race was not run to suit that day and he might be worth another chance as he had shaped like a future winner on his previous start. Demolition is another that has been knocking on the door recently and he only found Hits Only Vic too good here last time. However, he is high enough in the weights at present and on that basis we will pass him over. Jafra beat Highland Love at Beverely last time and if he can reproduce that form then he would hold solid claims. However, his overall profile suggests that he could be one to swerve on his follow-up bid. Veiled Applause has got course and distance winning form but he could do with a bit of respite from the handicapper before he is capable of scoring again. Ella Woodcock looks the safest option here and is the selection.
