Plenty of these are capable of a bold show and another fast and furious encounter looks to be assured. Budelli, Danehill Stroller and Ringmoor Down all have to be considered as shortlist material, but Artie is steadily dropping to a reasonable mark and he just edges a narrow vote. Tim Easterby's gelding has some solid form to his name from last season but has not had the rub of the green in his outings this time around. Kieren Fallon has been booked to ride the four-year-old and the partnership will be difficult to master from almost the best of the draw. Support for On The Brink will also be interesting but the daughter of Mind Games does look a little high in the weights for what she has actually achieved and may have to settle for a minor role behind her stablemate Artie today.
