A valuable prize for a Monday at Ripon can go to Danehill Stroller, who is in much better form than when he finished down the field in this race last term and can confirm recent superiority with Dame de Noche, who will provide a stern test if she is in the same frame of mind as when finishing fourth at Goodwood last week. The lightly raced Impressive Flight has a stiff test at the weights for her reappearance but has enough good form to her name to be given a solid mention, while Indian Spark can never be ruled out; even though the ground is not ideal for him this afternoon. Romany Nights does not have much to find on recent form and is also capable of playing a leading role on ground that holds no fears for him. However, Danehill Stroller is now 1lb lower then the last time he was successful and, as he does not have too many miles on the clock for a sprinter of his age, he looks the value call in a wide open contest that is likely to go right down to the wire.
