This appears to be a straightforward task for News Sky, who has the best form to his name up to date and can cope with the challenges of the unexposed Payola and Jidiya, who are expected to give the selection the most to do. The last named is well exposed though and the form will be very suspect should this five-year-old manage to come out on top today. Whereas Payola was not beaten far on his debut and can be expected to be a lot wiser over a trip that should suit this time. Neither of the Mary Reveley-trained pair make any appeal on what they have achieved so far and are not hard to overlook, with the same comments leveled at Blue Nun, who has struggled to beat home anything of note in her previous starts and is best left alone. Therefore, in summary, News Sky only has to run his usual race to get off the mark and his connections can rest safely in the knowledge that his rating of 80 will still be in tact even if he bolts in.
