In depth

Verdict

The speedy MEHDI has by far the best form having been placed on all three starts. He finished runner-up at Ascot over 7f last month and the drop back in trip should suit Brian Meehan's colt. He's likely to start a short price here ahead of Bapak Pintar, who looks next best on the evidence of his debut third at Ayr, though the newcomer Indyend is one to note for Tim Easterby's in-form yard. The remainder are hard to fancy.
