Pisanello finally came good at Hamilton and seems sure to go well again but has been hoisted to a career-high mark and all his best has come over shorter trips. Cockalorum did well to oblige on his seasonal bow but this represents a rise in grade and NIGWA, from a yard in form, was probably unfortunate not to get her head in front in a competitive Hamilton handicap and makes more appeal off just a pound higher mark. Baryshnikov returns to action quickly after posting a good third in the Zetland Gold Cup at Redcar on Monday and will be hard to keep out of the frame again if bringing that level of form to the table here.
