It's hardly surprising that FIRST SARGEANT (NAP) runs here as he escapes a penalty for last week's wide-margin victory in an apprentice race at Wetherby. Rachel Richardson is excellent value for her claim and a quick double looks on the cards. Mawaseel looks a live threat as he was making his handicap debut when runner-up at Leicester and though beaten a long way will have come on for the run, his first since September. Ronya had been threatening to win a race for a long time before finally doing so over slightly shorter here last week where he made all. He has a 6lb penalty to carry but that shouldn't prevent another big effort. Moccasin has a big weight but will enjoy the conditions after finding the going much too lively at Beverley last time while Diddy Eric's two victories last August came on ground with plenty of give.
