Verdict

Valantino Oyster won this in 2012 and arrives in top form having won a claimer here ten days ago. Most of his dozen victories have been on faster going than he'll face here but the veteran THE OSTEOPATH, who has won the same number of races, prefers a bit of cut nowadays and is still capable of scoring at this lowly level. Conry has the edge on official ratings and has been placed in much stronger company this season but he was beaten in a seller last month and then finished a long way behind in a claimer at Chester. Petergate is still a maiden after 26 starts but could still prove best of the remainder.
