In depth

Verdict

Swinley Forest opened his account with a victory at Kempton but has been raised 7lb and a couple of these look set to strike off their current marks. Silver Samurai was no match for the winner when second at Haydock though will be sharper for the outing but WAR DEFENDER may edge this having shown further improvement when going close at Newcastle last time on his handicap debut. Novice winner Count Of Amazonia can only improve on last month’s poor effort at Newbury and should do so dropping down in class while El Naseri is preferred of the remainder after a better effort at Ayr last time.
