In depth

Verdict

ELECTED has been thereabouts at the finish in both starts, including a third at Yarmouth last time and the winner of that has subsequently placed in Listed company. The Haggas colt is fitted with a tongue-tie today and is preferred to Fools Rush In, who finished runner-up at Windsor without threatening the winner. Cooperation has a shout back at this level having struggled in the Norfolk at Ascot while stablemate Vivacious Boy and Spycatcher are newcomers to note with the latter representing last year’s winning yard.
