WITHERNSEA is well clear on official ratings and should be winning this. He landed a claimer at Beverley on his penultimate start before struggling back in a handicap on heavy going at Carlisle. Kiwi Bay has been a standing dish over track and trip down the years but isn’t getting any younger. However, he managed a couple of wins last year and has been thereabouts in similar races to this more recently. Abushamah, Shamaheart and Torrid are other course and distance winners while King of Naples has every chance on these terms but has not been in the best of form in a light campaign to date.
