Blue Gardenia wasn’t beaten far twice over a mile last month and has to go on the short-list here, though dropping back a furlong may not be ideal. Alfurat River was third over 6f on debut at Windsor but the step up in trip at Kempton didn’t appear to bring about any improvement and he has a bit to prove now. CHATHAM HOUSE has already achieved a mark of 83 and his form has a solid look about it. He is having a first run over 7f but has been placed over 6f and a mile so it shouldn’t be a problem on this galloping course.
