Tiger Dream, Mangham and Jabal Tariq form the shortlist in division two of the maiden and the vote is given to Tiger Dream. The selection showed plenty of promise on his debut when chasing home Kandahar Run at Doncaster. He is dropped in trip here which is not ideal as he was doing his best work at the finish on his racecourse bow, but nonethless he looks the stand-out runner here and he should take plenty of beating. Mangham ran well over this course and distance on his debut and he should give the selection most to think about if he can progress from that run. However the race hasn't worked out very well and for that reason he is taken on today. Jabal Tariq finished sixth behind Perfect Stride at Sandown last time but he wasn't beaten that far and he looks the type that will be up to winning races. Mazaaya is an interesting newcomer from the Mark Johnston yard and she is worth a look in the market, although she looks the type who could be seen to better effect over a longer trip. With all this in mind, we will return to Tiger Dream as the selection.
