Not surprisingly there is very little for backers to go on here with only last week's Lingfield second Spoof Master, who has to be hugely respected, having raced previously but the vote goes to Rouen ahead of Flying Lion. The last mentioned is a sister to a juvenile sprint winner and has to be respected but she looks the second string of Mick Channon's two runners. David Evans did well with his youngsters last term so it will be interesting to see how Everyman goes here although he makes only limited appeal on pedigree. Elizabeth Garrett is bred to want further and of more interest may be Spoof Master, who is entitled to strip fitter for his debut spin at Lingfield. The vote though goes to Mick Channon's Rouen who makes plenty of appeal on pedigree and hails from a yard that has a powerful string of juveniles and is already off the mark for the campaign with them.
