Verdict

Musical Sky looked a nice prospect when runner-up at Carlisle but has finished last in two subsequent starts. Quirky Gertie started odds-on at Chepstow after an encouraging reappearance on soft ground at Lingfield but didn't quicken after being up with the pace. The drop in trip may suit while Jungle Secret showed plenty of promise on Tapeta and Fibresand over the winter and has a sprinter's pedigree. Raksha has been outpaced on fast ground and could do better on today's surface but the vote goes to FASHIONESQUE, who was unfancied on her Yarmouth debut but stayed on nicely once the penny dropped.
