It is hard to look beyond Font in this maiden and we will side with him to beat Music Review and Wishing On A Star. The selection will have ground conditions to suit and he was only narrowly beaten by Plum Pudding at Newmarket in a competitive handicap last time. He probably needed the run last time as he was returning from a break and with that run under his belt he should take plenty of beating. Music Review was a fair third behind Tartan Tie here last time and she remains open to plenty of improvement. However, she has yet to prove herself with cut in the ground and for that reason she may be best watched today. Wishing On A Star was a little disappointing in her two runs last season but she hails from a yard that has to be respected in these type of events and she could be worth a look in the market on her seasonal reappearance. Lion Ridge ran a fair race last time at Brighton considering he did not really handle the track and he will find this course more to his liking. He may be capable of better today but for the winner we will stick with the James Fanshaw-trained colt Font.
