This looks to be an extremely tough nursery handicap, but our tentative vote goes to Zabeel Tower, just ahead of Herninski, Countrywide Belle, Feeling Irie and George's Flyer. Herninski is certainly an interesting runner. One of two entries from the Pat Haslam stable, which seems to be running into form, the booking of Jamie Spencer certainly catches the eye and this Hernando filly steps up in trip for her handicap debut, having shown plenty of promise in three starts so far. Countrywide Belle was well beaten in a hot nursery at Goodwood last time, but had shown some fair form in some of her previous races and although she looks a bit more exposed than some of these, she should be a contender here. Feeling Irie carries a six pound penalty for winning a maiden at Musselburgh last week, and as that was his first try over a mile Nigel Tinkler's colt must also have claims here. George's Flyer shaped well when third in a better race than this at York last time. That was his best effort so far, and he appears to have overcome the breathing problems which plagued him earlier. Richard Fahey's charge looks sure to be suited by this extra furlong and is another to be wary of. However, our vote goes to the Mick Channon-trained Zabeel Tower. This Anabaa colt contested some hot maiden races before showing plenty of ability on his handicap debut at Newmarket when he finished a close fourth to Kinsya. There was a big gap back to the fifth horse that day, the form looks solid in the context of this race and off a pound lower mark, Zabeel Tower could just be the answer to this very hard race.
