      Verdict

Barry Hills' Popocatepetl has kept some decent company in the past and has all the allowances in her favour but with a tactical race likely, the vote goes to Bucks. The five-year-old does not have too many miles on the clock but he has decent bits and pieces of form and has always looked a likely staying type. Activist has performed creditably in staying handicaps and over hurdles last winter. This maiden has done little wrong but looks destined to find one too good again.
