Samarmadi hasn't progressed as expected from his debut victory at Doncaster but GEOFF POTTS made a successful debut for new connections over this trip on soft ground after transferring to Richard Fahey and found the minimum trip too short at Catterick next time. He can return to winning ways though Penny Pot Lane is generally consistent and will enjoy the conditions. However, Interlink is best on the all-weather.
