Richtee won well last time out at this track and he can follow up ahead of Charlie Tango and Always Flying. The selection clearly appreciated the step up in trip last time having previously only raced over sprint distances. Given similar underfoot conditions he has an excellent chance of following up for the in-form Richard Fahey yard. Charlie Tango is not the most consistent but is a useful performer on his day. He appreciates a fast surface and has the excellent Sam Hitchcott in the saddle. Despite generally running well, Always Flying has just one career win to date but has ability and it would not be a surprise to see him run well but Richtee looks the call here with a good young apprentice taking off a few pounds.
