Copplestone ran with promise on his seasonal reappearance at Ayr and being one of the few proven stayers in the field he is taken to score ahead of Dash Of Magic and Astromancer. The selection showed a good general level of form last season and if picking up where he left off he should prove hard to beat on ground that will suit. He also has good recent hurdle form. Astromancer put in a pleasing effort last time out at York and a reproduction of that effort will see him go close while Dash Of Magic won well at Southwell earlier this month and if translating that form to turf should run well. However the fit Copplestone looks to be the one to be on at the likely prices.
