    In depth

    Verdict

Basinet who ran well last time out when second behind Adamus is taken to regain the winning thread despite his rise in the handicap. Parting Shot was a disappointing favourite last time out but he would have a chance on his best form but he appears to have his own idea about the game. Escalade is well in on his best form and showed signs of a revival when second behind Atlay last time out. Hawkley has also been in good form of late is well drawn and will handle this fast ground. Apache Point is a course and distance winner but his best form is with more cut in the ground. Queens Musician has been running well without winning of late and needs to drop a few pounds before he gets his head in front. Andromache was a disappointing favourite over twelve furlongs last time out and will appreciate this drop in trip. Ballyhurry is also well in on his best form but he was well backed and found precious little off the bridle last time out.
