In depth

Verdict

Inexperience got the better of ISLE OF LISMORE when hanging at the start at Newcastle and he found himself at the rear of the field. But Bob Cowell’s colt picked-up nicely in the closing stages without threatening and will know more today as he steps up a furlong. Nortonthorpe Boy finished in front of Son Of Darb's when fourth over today’s trip at Wolverhampton and can also figure while Vivacious Boy, Diamond Haze and Jumierah Challenge make most appeal of the newcomers.
