Verdict

ANOTHER WISE KID scored over this trip at Beverley at the start of last month and hasn't been disgraced off higher marks over 6f since, being beaten less than a length when third at Ripon on Wednesday. Providing this doesn't come too soon, he can return to winning ways at the chief expense of Diamond Blue who took a Catterick maiden on her racecourse debut three weeks ago and is open to further improvement. Ice Trooper was a progressive sort as a juvenile but was tailed off on his reappearance at Beverley while stablemate Johnny Hancocks was beaten in a seller at the same track on his penultimate start. Mr Mo Jo was raised 7lb for winning at Musselburgh in April and is also worth opposing in this better grade.
