      Verdict

Nobody would begrudge Tancred Spirit a first success after a number of near-misses lately but he's still creeping up the handicap. Stablemate Ever Roses is tried in blinkers after disappointing in a seller at Catterick last time but Chester Deelyte and Green Warrior have claims and are closely matched on their run together at Leicester last week. Bygones For Coins has hinted at ability but we'll take a chance that BE A GOOD LADY can improve on her third in a seller at Ripon. That was her first start since November and Neville Bycroft's filly is still relatively unexposed in comparison to most of these.
