    Verdict

Placed in all four outings, Lord Of The Alps hasn’t shown the progress expected and never threatened the winner when second at Beverley last time. But LIGHT THE FUSE is creeping steadily closer and finished less than a length behind the winner over today’s trip at Epsom recently. First-time headgear may bring further progress and Karl Burke’s colt gets the vote. Oso Rapido has come up short in handicaps so far and Newmarket novice winner Ten Thousand Stars is preferred back on a faster surface after struggling on heavy going at Hamilton while the remainder are harder to fancy.
