Zalimar was a costly failure last time but is given a chance to atone here, Kanad and Patronage are put forward as the main dangers. Luca Cumani's filly was expected to improve for the step up in trip at Windsor last time, but may not have appreciated the slow early pace. With a truly run race expected this afternoon her stamina should come into play and she looks the one to be on. Kanad has been steadily improving this campaign and his recent second to Active Asset makes him a strong contender for some place money at least.. Meanwhile Patronage comes into the argument on his impressive course and distance victory last month. Love And Laughter and Given A Choice are two others to note, but Zalimar is expected to repay her followers this afternoon
