Kinloch Pride was runner-up in a handicap at Beverley last week and Poolstock occupied the same finishing position at Ayr on his penultimate start. Kingthistle’s recent second came in a maiden but DOUGLAS BANK ran well for fourth in a tougher sprint than this at Nottingham last time and Roy Bowring’s charge has more scope than most having missed the whole of last year. Bromley Cross is also lightly raced and makes most appeal of the rest.
