Oriental Tiger and Viserion were both successful in apprentice races over 1m4f last time and escape penalties. The latter won a higher grade race than this at York a week ago and should go close again, despite the shorter trip. But a chance is taken on RONYA today as she is back on the same mark as when scoring over 1m1f here last summer having placed at Doncaster a fortnight ago. Gabrial's Hope won this in 2014 but has not scored since while Mowhoob is also on a long losing run with both previous wins coming over 7f. Le Deluge scored at Lingfield in November but is 5lb higher and has not raced since January.
