        Verdict

        This is a wide open affair with which to finish and Bluebok, Niteowl Lad and Howards Princess the ones to consider, with Bluebok the one to be on. Howards Princess has been placed in two attempts from three runs this season and will go well here on the evidence of a fair second at Ayr last time. Niteowl Lad showed some decent form last season and was not beaten that far in a Haydock handicap last time. This represents a drop in grade and he will go close. The Milton Bradley yard is going well and he is represented here by Bluebok. He has shown some promising form this season but nonetheless was allowed to start at 33-1 in a hot Salisbury handicap and was beaten in a photo. Bluebok can make up for that narrow defeat here.
