      Verdict

A small field here and a very poor contest, where we take debutante Beau Sancy to score from Minimum Fuss and Lansdown. The selection comes from a yard who have been going much better in the spring. Although his sire's side fo things does not inspire confidence, there is encouragement from his dam who did manage to win at 3 and who is a half sister to Funfair Wane, so we will take a chance on him. Minimum Fuss has the experience here and was runner up over 6f at Thirsk last time. The hoods are again applied here and she looks the big danger. Lansdown has been pretty ordinary so far but looks best of the rest, but we'll chance the newcomer Beau Sancy.
