In depth

Verdict

Nistaki is steadily improving and can land this handicap from Fitzwarren and Bella Boy Zee. Tim Easterby's colt is making his handicap debut this afternoon and doesn't look too badly treated. When finishing fourth behind stable-mate Swainsworld at Beverley in June he wasn't given a hard time and he had some decent enough runners behind. With more forceful tactics today he will be hard to beat. Fitzwarren is trained by the in form Neville Bycroft and has the added bonus of a jockey at the top of his game in Eddie Ahern. The combination were just pipped over course and distance last October and following a recent third at Pontefract, Fitwarren could be set to go close again. Bella Boy Zee comes here following a recent victory at Doncaster, his first outing for six months. There should be plenty more to come from this speedy filly and she rates a big danger. So a very tricky contest, but Nistaki has a lot more scope than most of these and gets our vote.
