Verdict

PADDY AGAIN made a very encouraging debut in the Brocklesby at Doncaster, where she showed excellent pace before being outpointed by Cock Of The North. There were several fancied horses behind and there's no reason to suggest the form isn't strong. Tom Dascombe won this the first time it was run in 2011 and with the yard going well Diatomic, a half-brother to a winning juvenile, is one to note. Tagtale is very speedily bred and a half-sister to a couple of 6f winners while Reet Petite represents last year's winning yard. Compton River is the first foal of a mare who won over 5f as a two-year-old so he should have plenty of pace.
