Tim Easterby’s yard have won three of the last four renewals including last year with GIVE IT SOME TEDDY (NAP). The latter landed a qualifying event for this last month when beating Star Shield with Breanski, Hayadh and Irv all further behind and is preferred to stablemate One To Go. He’s taken to make another bold bid and reverse earlier running here with Universal Gleam, who also beat Algaffaal and Kripke when scoring over track and trip but has been beaten off today’s mark in both subsequent starts. Calvados Spirit beat Creek Island at Newmarket earlier but is upped in class for this.
