In depth

Verdict

A moderate contest to close with only a handful with a serious chance. Sualda had a fruitful summer, picking up three races along the way and is back down to a mark he has won off. He must go well, while Weet A Round looks well worth a try at this trip after staying on well up the hill at Newmarket, in what looked a decent claimer last time. However, the vote goes to the penalised Society, who was woken up by the first time visor at Ripon. She has the assistance of Kevin Darley here and if the headgear works a second time, she looks the one to beat.
