          Verdict

          With the stalls placed in the centre of the track there should be no draw bias. Rutters Renegade comes here in good form having won a seller and then she stepped up on that effort when runner-up to Boston Lodge, who has gone on to win again. She has to run off a 4lb higher mark here, but she is improving and that weight rise is unlikely to stop her. Plenty of dangers including Pat Haslam's King Revo, who claimed the scalp of the useful Falcon On The Hill over course and distance last month. That was on a softer surface and it remains to be seen whether he will be as effective on this fast ground. Aries is another worthy of consideration after her sound effort behind No Time in a valuable nursery at York. She will find this a little easier and will appreciate the return to seven-furlongs. Spritsail may do better now she steps into handicap company and must be noted if the market speaks in her favour.
