In depth

Verdict

Nakeeta took advantage of a lowly mark at Ayr in September but was then beaten when favourite at Haydock and has gone up another 2lb since. Good View was disappointing at Newcastle last month but has run well enough on soft going in the past to be considered. Notation made a belated winning reappearance at Southwell but will have to defy a penalty follow up while Magna Moralia has been beaten twice over hurdles since last seen on the Flat. FLOWER OF SCOTLAND only failed to justify favouritism at Newcastle by a short-head. She’s gone up 2lb since but is unexposed on Turf and can recoup losses if handling conditions. The ground will suit Cornerstone Lad and Micky Hammond’s smart hurdler can’t be left out of calculations.
