Silvery Moon's last three runs have been in higher class handicaps and he would have finished much closer at Newbury last time but for being impeded. He can make his presence felt though EMPRESS ALI is a real soft-ground specialist and, if the going remains on the easy side, she'll take some beating. She takes a slight step up in grade after her victory over a big field at York and is 6lb higher but should manage the transition and can gain her third victory in four starts. El Beau wasn't far behind her on the Knavesmire and has to get closer on the revised terms while Ardmay enters the fray in winning form having scored over hurdles at Sedgefield in September. Maraakib makes a quick reappearance after failing to complete a hat-trick at Newmarket on Friday where he didn't get going until too late.
