Fenella Fudge won a C&D maiden by 8l and suffered in the weights as a consequence. She ran so poorly at Newcastle last time that it couldn't have been her true form. Sabratha scored twice in July but could never get into the action on her hat-trick attempt at Musselburgh in September and is probably in the handicapper's grip. GREEN HOWARD was conceding a stone to Beautiful Day when beating that rival a length over the C&D last month while Comrade Bond beat the same horse by just under two lengths when conceding 1lb at Yarmouth a week ago. There's very little between the pair on that form but Green Howard probably just has the more scope and is taken to complete the double. Maven has had the requisite three maiden runs and has shown enough to suggest she is one to keep an eye on as she makes her handicap debut.
