A few of these have been struggling off higher marks since winning. They include Yarmouth winner The Strig, who failed to beat a rival on his latest start, and Lingfield scorer Jimmy Ryan was still beaten three lengths last time despite finishing runner-up. Wolverhampton winner Howyadoingnotsobad couldn't handle a 6lb rise last time and Dorothy's Dancing has failed to figure since landing a Polytrack double back in March. In contrast, BLACK BACCARA is now back on a winning mark and, after going close at Lingfield a fortnight ago, looks set to strike again.
