BANNOCK has plenty in his favour here. He can race on favourable terms under today's conditions and his recent placed efforts in Group 2 events is the best form on offer. The draw should make little difference as he'll probably blast off in the lead and Mark Johnston's colt looks the one to beat. He's preferred to stablemate Fulbright, but Bogart won a similar event to this at York before failing to see out the 7f at Doncaster last time and looks a real threat. Silverheels is also well treated at the weights but has plenty to find with the selection on earlier form at Goodwood, while Gold City has more scope than Bear Behind and could figure along with the rapidly improving Bop It.
