ARAB LEAGUE was a little novicey on his hurdling debut at Plumpton but would still have beaten Trovare had he not clattered through the last. David Pipe's Flat winner will know more today and can open his account over this longer trip. Cleaver won over a slightly shorter trip here in May but hasn't raced since while Lava Lamp has also had a break after disappointing over 2m6f at Cartmel in July. Grabtheglory won a Plumpton bumper in May and looks the type to do well over hurdles in time but he, too, may just need this run.
