Fayr Jag, Crimson Sun and Suggestive are the shortlisted trio in this Listed race and the vote is given to Fayr Jag. The selection has yet to win this season but he lost no caste in defeat when a good second behind Baron's Pit in a Group 2 contest at Newmarket last time. Granted he has yet to win over this trip but his style of running suggests it is worth a try and he will not find an easier opportunity to get his head in front. Crimson Sun is a lightly-raced colt and he is sure to come on for his only run so far this season when he finished third behind New Seeker. He has gone close in Group 3 company in the past and he has to be respected at this level. Suggestive won well last time out when beating Cupids Glory but this looks much more competitive and he will need to improve again to get his head in front today. Pivotal Flame was a good third behind Sleeping Indian in a Group 3 last time, and he will not mind any rain that falls. He is another with place prospects but Fayr Jag gets the vote in the hope that his stamina gets him home.
